2015/08/28&29 Just Rock It!!! 2015 TOKYO at 日本武道館
My
first Mayday concert in 7 long months!! It was my first time attending a
concert at the Budokan – a relief that it was a seated concert unlike the previous
standing concerts at Zepp/Namba. Only thing I didn’t like was the Japan concert
ticket system. Tickets are ALL priced the same, whether you get allotted a second
floor seat or an arena seat. That’s just really really unfair. But that’s how
concert tickets are sold in Japan.
I
attended both concerts on the 28th and 28th August. On
the first day I didn’t plan on going early to queue for the merchandise as
there wasn’t anything on the merchandise list that I wanted. There was a crazy line for the merchandise on day 1. My friends who wanted to purchase the tees
arrived at the venue at noon and queued for 3 hours!
hello Budokan ! see the people on the first floor? they are Qing for the merchandise.. |

I
returned to the venue about an hour before showtime and entry was quick. I was
told to expect bag checks but on both days no bag checks were conducted.
It was good
seeing them on stage again after a long gap yet they haven’t lost their touch.
I wish I had learned the words of their Japanese songs haha. They’ve come a
long way since their first Japanese appearance and you can see improvement in their Japanese. They even have a translator on the big screen for fans who don’t
understand mandarin/Japanese. You can tell they are really making an effort for
everyone to understand them and not feel left out. Flumpool was their
guest on both nights (no surprise) Only surprise was hearing Ryuta
singing in Taiwanese and how his Chinese haven’t improved at all haha. Those who weren't at the concert will be pleased to know that the concert was recorded.. expect a DVD/bluray release soon ;)

Oh
hang on the fun didn’t just end after the concert. I finally got my Madison Square
Garden ticket from last year signed by Monster! It was signed by 4 of them
last year (minus Monster) so after 1 year 4 months I finally completed it!
yay signed by all 5 ! |
That
was the end of the Budokan concerts. Have to wait till next year
to see them. By then a new album should be out, along with a brand new world
tour.
