無限創造DNA演唱會幕後公開展

Another long overdue post..

Two weekends ago I went to Huashan Park to check out the DNA Behind the Stage exhibition, I was expecting a large crowd of fans as it was the opening day, only to find the place empty as a desert. Well not quite, but almost.

If you had pre-purchased the entrance ticket (NTD250 each) through 7-11's ibon prior to August 4th, you get a free DNA bear ticket holder (pictured below - choose from 1 of two colours) worth NTD199. Not bad eh?

5 live size figurines at the side of the main entrance. they must be worth a lot cos when I went, there were 2 B'in Music staff and one security guy watching over them LOL

ticket counter - if you haven't pre-purchase your entrance ticket you can buy a ticket here. If you already have a pre-purchased ticket, you can redeem your free DNA bear ticket holder here

the entrance

The first thing I realise when I entered the place was how dim the lighting is, it's like being inside a cinema

Noah's Ark concert costume

Lego Mayday from the 第一天 MV played during the Noah's Ark concert

handwritten messages from the band members - so who's got the nicest handwriting? ;)

this is the green laser room - the huge white block is actually a Transformer

and here's the mini DNA stage room - it's like being inside a DNA concert hall and there are several monitors set up in the audience area where you get a feel of what it's like to be working 'behind the stage' during the concert

oops~ i cued the wrong song!

All in all, I was kind of disappointed with the exhibition. The whole idea of behind the stage of a mayday concert just wasn't worth holding an exhibition for it - It was just another event for them to milk (more) money from their ever growing fanbase *sigh*

Last but not least, the merchandise section.. more $$$.. I rest my case.

This exhibition is (strictly) for die-hard fans only LOL. The exhibition is open daily from 9am to 6pm, starting August 4th till October 28th. To get to Huashan Park, alight at Zhongxiao Xinsheng MRT station (忠孝新生) on the Bannan line. Huashan Park is a 10 minute walk from the MRT station
