
I had no idea that Woolies had collapsed till I read about it in the news. When I was in England I used to frequent Woolies once or twice a week for chocolates, CD and magazines. Looks like the deepening recession is hitting retailers really hard. It's unbelievable how such a reputable retailer that has been trading for almost a century and survived the two World War succumbed to the current credit crunch. Wonder who's next to crash?
